Showcase your products’ average rating and the total number of reviews received with our Rating Widget.
This widget helps build customer trust and confidence in their buying decision by leveraging social proof.
You can easily add the Rating Widget to any page of your store and customize its appearance to align with your brand’s style and design.
To add the Rating widget to your product pages using the Shopify Theme Editor:
- Inside your Shopify Themes menu, click “Customize” to open the Theme Editor:
- Select the product page template (or any other page) you would like to edit:
- Click “Add section” on the left-side menu, and select “Rating Widget”:
- Drag and position the widget app block to your desired location on the page.
- Click On “Save”.
You can customize widget from below settings:
- Font Size: Modify the size of the text and icons in the Rating Widget.
- Widget Text: Add custom text to display next to the rating icons. This will replace the default “(rating)” placeholder.
- Hide Info Text: Disable the text next to the rating icons when activated.
- Widget Alignment: Adjust the positioning of the Rating Widget on your product page.
- Widget Layout – “Default”: With this option, the widget will show up to 5 stars based on the product’s average rating.
- Widget Layout – “Single Icon”: This option will display a single rating icon next to the product’s average rating.
- Widget Text Color: Choose the color for the text that appears next to the rating icons.
- Widget Star Color: Override the default rating icon color in your Dropstars “Branding” settings and select your preferred color.
- Show All Reviews: When enabled, the widget will display the overall average rating and the total number of reviews, rather than showing individual product ratings.
- Open Floating Product Reviews Widget on Click: When enabled, clicking on the rating icons will open the Floating Product Reviews Widget.
- Show Empty Stars When There Are No Reviews: When enabled, the Star Rating Widget will display empty rating icons for products that have no reviews.
- Spacing Settings: You can manage spacing for margin and padding.
