Boost Sales and Traffic with Dropstars Post-Purchase Referrals
Encourage customers to refer friends and family by leveraging the Dropstars Post-Purchase Referrals Widget.

The widget appears on the order confirmation page after a customer completes a purchase, prompting them to share their unique discount link. This helps spread the word, drive traffic, and reward your customers for their referrals.

Activating the Dropstars Post-Purchase Referrals Widget

To enable the Dropstars Post-Purchase Referrals Widget:

Navigate to the “Referrals -> Widgets” menu and click on “Post-Purchase Referrals Widget” section.

• Find the option labeled “Activate widget”.
• Toggle the switch to “On” to activate the widget.

• Inside your Shopify Themes menu, click “Customize” to open the Theme Editor:

• Open the page template dropdown and select “Checkout and new customer accounts.”

• Open the page template dropdown and select “Thank you.”

• In the bottom-left corner of the screen, click “Add app block” and select “Post-Purchase Referrals Widget.”

• That’s it! The Post-Purchase Referrals Widget will now be visible on your customers’ thank you page.

You can customize widget from below settings:

• Title: The first line of the widget displays the discount available to the customer.
• Subtitle: This text appears in bold directly beneath the title, highlighting the discount or reward offer.
• Body: The text below the subtitle that provides an explanation of how the discount is applied and how the referral process works.
• Button: The action text on the share button that encourages users to click and share their referral link.

Referral Emails

After interacting with the Post-Purchase Referrals Widget, customers will register as brand promoters and receive a unique discount code. This code, along with a shareable link, will also be sent to their email.

Promoters can retrieve their discount links or codes anytime from this email.

The content of the email will vary depending on the post-purchase incentive selected in your Dropstars Admin settings.
